This one-year program provides a robust introduction to business management and the real estate industry. Students will cover core business functions: planning, operations, marketing, finance, and economics, alongside communication and human relations. The course also incorporates legal aspects of business, including consumer and business rights. Furthermore, students will gain valuable insights into the real estate industry, studying practical applications of principles, home ownership, entrepreneurship, and diverse career paths. Key real estate topics include contracts, financing, appraisals, marketing, and property management.
This course also meets the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation’s (DPOR’s) required 60 class/clock hours of real estate salesperson pre-license education. (The 60-hour requirement does not expire.)
