Congratulations Trista Grigsby
Trista Grigsby’s impact reaches far beyond her classroom. This year alone, she secured nearly $19,000 in grants, donations and in-kind support to enrich agricultural education for her students and her program earned the regional Secondary Advisory Committee Award from the Virginia Department of Education. Her passion to reduce food insecurity by teaching sustainable food practices inspired a former Camp Epic student to start a gardening club at her middle school. From revitalizing learning gardens at several CCPS elementary schools to empowering students to explore the many careers in agriculture education, Trista makes a difference.
