Energy Transmission, Distribution, and Storage

This two year course is designed for students who are interested in engineering in the power industry. Students will learn about managing and coordinating the flow of electrical power from plants to consumers. Students will participate in hands-on activities such as designing and building models of grids and gas systems as well as improve facility efficiency and perform energy audits. Students will explore new and emerging technologies, policies, trends, and careers in energy. Looking to the future, students will explore renewable energy technologies and gain hands-on experience in their design and function.

This is an Honors level Program. Rising Juniors receive preference in admissions for this two year program. Rising Seniors are encouraged to apply for one year programs.
